We all love installing and trying out new software. But only too often we install software that we never use again. And all this installed software takes up disk space. The less disk space you have, the slower your computer runs. Most programs come with the built in uninstallers, but some applications can be difficult to remove. That's where Revo Uninstaller comes to rescue. With the help of this program, you can easily uninstall even the most stubborn software and free up valuable disk space.

3. Defraggler

As you create new files, modify your existing files, download music, videos and photos, your hard drive becomes fragmented. This happens because of the way Windows works. You see, when Windows saves a file, it tries to fill every available little bit of space on your hard drive. To do that, it splits the file. As a result, the file becomes fragmented and little file fragments are scattered all over the hard drive. This means that Windows needs a lot longer to assemble the file fragments and open the files when it consists of thousands of fragments.
